The Home opened in 1987 too provide specialised care to elderly mentally infirm people (50 years and over) suffering from a wide range of psychological illnesses. Our facilities are safe and incorporate many home comforts, to reinforce residents' familiarity with their surroundings. Specialist activities for people with memory-impairments may also be provided. Reminiscence therapy can reduce frustration about short term memory loss. Complementary therapies and other sensory experiences are also used to great effect. CSCI_report
